Housed in the heart of the Jewish quarter, the dining rooms of this restaurant lie in several adjoining houses. They are decorated with old motifs as well as with major paintings by local painters. It has two courtyards, one which is typical of Cordoba that lies on the ground floor, and the other which is housed in the upper part with a wonderful lemon tree that bears fruit all year round. It has a main dining hall as well as 10 private dining rooms. There is no fixed set menu, as it is constantly being changed. The wine cellar-museum is housed in the adjoining house. It received the 'Premio Alimentos' Award for Spanish gastronomy in 1998 and is well worth a visit. The wine cellar is split into different sections including an area dedicated to reservas and grandes reservas. A wide selection of wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero. There are also some wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Italy as well as a selection of ports. Very professional service.
