About The Area:

In the 11th century, Corduba was one of the most important capitals in Europe.  People of different cultures and religions - Jews, Muslims and Christians - lived peacefully together and important philosophers, scientists and artists flourished there.  The different influences, cultures and inspirations have produced an area rich in architecture (including the world famous Mezquita Moorish mosque), tradition and the arts, a delightful and rewarding area for visitors to explore.

Cordoba is a very lively town in the best Andalusian tradition, a town of Flamenco and bullfighting, and certainly one of the most attractive destinations in southern Spain.

 

The excellent cuisine, influenced by various cultures, mirrors the vibrance and originality of the region.

 

 

Although Seville is the Capital of Andalucia which is home to the Costa Del Sol, Costa De La Luz, Cost Tropical and Costa Almeria, only around 20% of it's passengers traffic is from outside Spain.

Passenger numbers are climbing and in 2005 just over 3.2 million people passed through the airport compared to just 1.8 million back in 1999.
